Please be advised the Aston Waikiki Sunset has scheduled an upcoming plumbing repair and electrical project commencing January 16th, 2023 and onwards.  

As these projects are to improve the property, guests may incur noise throughout the day, intermittent water shutdowns and power outages (which guests will be notified in advance of any of these occurrences). The Hotel's team will take every possible measure in ensuring our guest’s stay is comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Electrical Project - Estimated project duration & completion: January 16, 2023 – May 31, 2024

•  Work is restricted to Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• There will be noise from drilling in the laundry rooms on each floor from January 17, 2023 through May 31, 2024.
• Some laundry rooms may be closed on various floors during the initial phase of the project from January 16, 2023 through May 31, 2024. Laundry rooms will be accessible on other floors where work is not being performed.
• There will be intermittent temporary power outages throughout the project. Guests will be notified in advance for planned outages.

Plumbing Project - Estimated project duration & completion: March 13, 2023 - March 31st, 2024.

• There will be concrete drilling completed in phases on the ground level and around the perimeter of the property. Noise is expected.
• Work is restricted to Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• There may be intermittent water shutdowns throughout the project. Guests will be notified in advance if/when their unit will be affected by the water shutdowns.

Dates noted are approximate and subject to change.
This project is anticipated to be completed by March 31, 2024.

A daily resort fee of $35.00 USD plus applicable local resort fee taxes will be paid locally

• 200 rooms mixed 1-2 bedroom 
• All same decor. Same layout
• New paint and refreshed property in 2020 
• New sofa beds
• No maid service under 5 nights
• Lounge area with shower for late check out available

This hotel charges a Porterage Fee of $8.50 USD one-way per person.

Fee is subject to change without notice

Rollaway bed available at an extra charge plus applicable taxes.

Aston Waikiki Sunset will be doing a fan coil replacement project which

will commence on April 22, 2024, and run through May 20, 2025.

The replacement work will occur on all floors, starting on the ewa (west) side of the building.
• Work will be done by stack or unit series, starting with the 01 series until all stacks are completed.
• Unit stacks will not be occupied while work is being performed.
• Each unit stack will take approximately eight weeks to complete. 
• The scope of the work includes drywall cutting and carpentry.
• clients will hear construction noise and experience some disruption during the day
• Work will be limited to Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Forthcoming work requiring power and water outages are necessary to support the upgrade project. Schedule as follows:
Tuesday August 6, 2024:
• 8:30am-4:30pm - 8-hour power outage for the entire property. 
• The emergency generator will provide power to the elevators, fire exit stairwell lights, hallway lights, partial 
garage lights, the water pumps and the Front Desk.
Wednesday August 7, 2024:
• 4:00am-4:00pm - 12-hour air conditioning system outage for the entire property. 
• 8:30am-2:30pm - 6-hour power outage for entire property. The emergency generator will provide power to the elevators, fire exit stairwell lights, hallway lights, partial garage lights, the water pumps and the Front Desk.
Thursday August 8, 2024:
• 2:00am-2:00pm - 12-hour air conditioning system outage for the entire property. 
• 12:00pm-2:00pm - 2-hour power outage for entire property. Elevators and Front Desk will have power. The emergency generator will provide power to the elevators, fire exit stairwell lights, hallway lights, partial garage lights, the water pumps and the Front Desk.
Friday August 9, 2024:
• 8:00am-4:00pm - 8-hour booster pump outage which will affect the water supply to the property. There will be no air conditioning or plumbing during the outage. 

Parking is available based on availability at an additional cost plus taxes payable locally 

Seniors (50 & Up) recieve an upgrade upon arrival (based upon availability)

• Senior must be noted on reservations to receive amenities
